Sockeye salmon hue, clear and crisp
Strawberries, wild cherry, vibrant watermelon
Summer pudding explodes in your mouth, entering fresh, dry and crisp. A lively mix of fresh red strawberries, red raspberries and a touch of savoury herb flavours wind around your cheeks. The wine is vivacious, crisp and stimulating with a long refreshing finish that you come to expect from the Pinot family at 50th Parallel Estate.
The expectation that comes on the last day of school…the beginning of a seemingly endless summer.

Our Pinot Noir Rosé is made exclusively from vineyard blocks grown for the purposes of producing this wonderful wine. The grapes are cultivated to focus fruit flavours towards the red fruit bandwidth rather than the dark fruit spectrum typical of our Pinot Noir. Once ripened, the bunches are selectively hand harvested, destemmed and crushed into a closed fermenter. They are then chilled to almost freezing temperatures, allowing a 48 hour cold soak period on skins until the desired color is reached, and a touch of skin tannin is extracted. The juice is then pressed and cold settled. Cold fermentation then begins in stainless steel tanks for maximum aromatic expression.
Food Pairing Notes
Everything, and everyone. This Rosé has no boundaries; it loves all occasions. The perfect aperitif, or the perfect pairing for bouillabaisse, most seafoods, white meats, pork, game birds and even delicate red meats. The French have had Rosé figured out for generations, but with a bit of commitment to this lovely wine, we can all catch up. And yes, real men do drink pink.
Serve between 3-6 degrees Celcius in a white aromatic glass.
